As human beings with freedom of thot and limitless desires. Hope is an increasingly important component that emerges at every step we take; sometimes it can be a goal, and sometimes it can be a reason for us to move forward.
However, the law of hope, which has no limits for imagining and expecting, sometimes receives an unpleasant response from logic. Logic is not wrong, the Law of Hope is very abstract; it doesn't consider the capabilities, conditions, or nature of its master. Contrary to logic, which skillfully measures all of this, and because of this, logic is often considered an enemy of hope. However, with the right steps, these two things can collaborate and become two continuous elements for their master.
When hope stands without logic, it transforms into a fragile dream, beautiful to imagine, but easily collapsing when faced with reality. Conversely, logic without hope becomes a rigid step, full of calculation but lacking meaning and direction. Between the two, humans are often tossed about, hoping too much and forgetting to stay grounded, or being too logical and afraid to dream.
The balance between the two is not impossible. Hope needs to be given room to grow, but also fenced in so it doesn't run wild. Logic serves as that fence not to limit, but to ensure that hope can still survive in the real world. In every decision, hope provides the "why," and logic answers the "how." They complement each other, rather than negate each other.
Embracing hope without fear means daring to dream while understanding the risks. It is the art of walking between the sky and the earth, gazing at the stars without losing your footing. We learn to accept that not all hopes will come true, but every effort to make them happen will always cultivate something within us – resilience, understanding, or even maturity.
Lastly, hope is not just the belief that something will happen, but the courage to keep moving forward even without a guaranty of results. Logic is not meant to extinguish that light, but to ensure we carry the right lantern. Hope without logic is a fire without direction, and logic without hope is a step without light.
